The short, readable version of what you agree to when you use StoryMagic.
The service
StoryMagic creates personalized children's books from a photo and details you provide, available as printed books and digital downloads. You must be 18 or older to place an order, and you must have the right to use any photo you upload.
Your content
You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You grant us only the limited license needed to create your book and fulfill your order. You're responsible for ensuring you have permission from a parent or guardian for any child pictured.
Orders and payment
Prices are shown at checkout and charged by Stripe when you place your order. Because products are personalized, orders enter production quickly and can only be changed or canceled before production begins. See our Returns page for the full policy on defects and reprints.
Acceptable use
Don't upload photos of people without their (or their guardian's) consent, and don't use the service to create unlawful, hateful, or infringing content. We may decline and refund any order at our discretion.
Our content
Story text, illustrations, and the StoryMagic brand are our intellectual property. Your purchased book is for personal, non-commercial use.
Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law.
